Shopper FAQ
How do I get in touch?
If you need any help, feel free to reach out to us at help@thrifthuntr.com. A member of our team will aim to respond to you within 48 hours.
How do I reserve an item?
When you find an item you want, tap “Reserve” and pay a small £1 reservation fee to secure it. You'll receive a confirmation code that you’ll need when you pick up the item from the store.
What if I can’t pick up my reserved item in time?
If you can’t collect your reserved item within the 48-hour window, please contact the store directly to see if an extension is possible. If not, your reservation may be canceled, and the item could be made available to other customers.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Unfortunately, the £1 reservation fee is non-refundable. Once an item is reserved, you cannot cancel it, but you can choose not to collect it, and the item will become available to other buyers.
How do I use Thrifthuntr?
Thrifthuntr is simple! Browse through curated vintage and thrifted items from stores in your area, reserve what you love for just £1, and pick it up in-store.
How long is my reservation valid?
Reservations are typically valid for 48 hours from the time of purchase unless otherwise specified. If you don’t collect the item within that time frame, the store may release it for others to buy.
What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay the £1 reservation fee using a variety of payment methods, including debit/credit cards and digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Which areas do you serve?
Currently, we are available in London only, but we’re excited to expand in the future! Stay tuned for updates.
Can someone else pick up my reserved item?
The reservation is tied to your account. You can, however, pass the pickup code to someone else to collect the item on your behalf.
